A Quick (Optional) Tutorial: Permission Granting
Edsu apps are distributed across internet, but you don't have to create accounts for each one. Instead, you log in to your Edsu account here at the Edclave and then grant permissions to each app that you want to use.
Somewhere in each Edsu app, instead of a sign-up/log-in, you'll find something that looks like this:
When you fill in your Edsu username (e.g. fernando@edclave.com) and hit enter or click the button, it will open a new browser tab. The app will give you a list of of actions that it wants permissions to perform - e.g. read and write certain areas in your data storage - this is your opportunity to grant or deny that request. It's your data - no one can do anything with it without your permission.
If what's requested looks sensible to you (do the data locations make sense for the kind of application it is?) then click the "Grant" button - the tab will close and you'll be returned to the app, which will then proceed with the new permissions that you've given it (and which you can take away again at any time).
Otherwise, you can click Refuse and the tab will go away without granting any permissions to the app.
